This story focuses on Obi-Wan, in the times between Episode 3 and 4, which had not shows on film. At that time, he lives in Tatooine as the ordinary people and called himself as “Ben”. This story wrote as a number of letters or journal columns that “Ben” advised to another people lives in Tatooine, for The Shoppe forum's "The Little Things". It was interesting story for me because of two reasons. Firstly it figures out the life of ordinary people in Star Wars World. For example, there are some letters talks about the trouble caused by their droid or native animal lives in Tatooine, bantha. Furthermore, it well links to some things in original film. For example, Obi-Wan said "Negotiations will be short," as my dear mentor always said.” I think it is come from his old master Qui-Gon Zing in Star Wars episode 1. In conclusion, this author well understood and used Star Wars characters and world.





I Like Short Shorts

This fan fiction is a number of short shorts of Star Wars from episode 1 to 6. The style of this story is comedy so most of characters are changed more comedic. For example, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan discusses about the birthday present for girl in latest episode. Hence, the gap of characters between original film and this story make me laugh.




Singing in the Rain

This is a short story focuses on the bounty hunter family, Jango and Boba who was in Episode 2. They are the parent and child. They watch a holo (video) “Singing in Rain” because it was rainy day and Boba could not go outside so he appeals to Jango that He get bored. However they go to rainy outside after holovid finished because Boba decide to want to going outside and “Singing in the rain” like holo. This story illustrates the Father takes care the spoilt child. It probes into the characteristic and relationships between these two characters.






The Official Fan fiction University: Star Wars

This story is aimed to makes fun of some fan fictions. Rose Greyson is a normal girl who likes to write Star Wars fun fiction but lack of literacy skills. One night, the characters from Star Wars movie appear to her to stop writing. Then, she applies to “Fan Fiction University” in Star Wars world to improve her writing. There are two major aspects in this story. Firstly, this story criticizes about the some problems could be seen in fan fictions such as the original character who are so powerful and break the story like Rose wrote. Secondly, this story simulates the life of ordinal people who were moves to star wars world. The reaction of Rose when she has seen Coruscant city, where the main field in ep.1-3, is a significant example of it.




Where We Start From

The setting of story is the end of Episode 3 calls order 66. At that time a number of characters, Jedi Knights, are killed by betrayed clone troopers masterminded by evil Sith lord. This story illustrates the each scenes of death with more details than movie with time and location when and where the characters were in. It gives a tense situation for story like “24”.




Leia's Hobby

This is a short story with only two characters Leia Organa and Han Solo who are the main character of Star Wars. This story mainly focuses on the love between them. Han casually knows about Leia’s hobby, which is writing story, then he tried to know more about her hobby and concludes “…glad that he had learned something new about Leia that day”. There is also another interesting point which is parody. The story Leia writing is “a man that was exploring caves. The man was trying to find treasure while trying to avoid snakes and rats”. There are some reviews for this short story talks about Indiana Jones.





The End
The short story imagines about the end of Luke Skywalker’s life. He died of old age but before he died he met with his old master Obi-Wan and has a talk about the past and the world they saved. Finally Luke said "I wish that I had lived a few more years. The galaxy needed me. My son needed me," but in contrast of that author said “The galaxy would have to continue on without him”. I thought it is peaceful and sad ending for whole Star Wars story.




The Talk

This comedic short story completely changes the characters of Star Wars by original film. Darth Vader in this short story is quite timid an emotional unstable person. One day his master, Emperor urge Vader to have a talk to his son, Luke, but Vader try to avoid it until emperor “order” it. However after he decides to talk with Luke Obi-Wan and Luke’s guardian Owen are so unkind for him and either Luke thought that Darth Vader born in black suit like Alien. Moreover, Padme was oppressive that ordered to vader to do housework like slave and it is Vader’s trauma. It is linked to conversation between parent and child, about girl. So this story is funny black joke.






Star Wars: Crosscurrent Betrayal

The main theme of this story is changing the story happier. Darth Vader, Anakin came back to 16 years ago when he became Darth Vader and try to fix his past. What I thought well in this story is Anakin could have a chance to talk with his master and friend, Obi-Wan. In the film, Anakin could not speak his secret to Obi-Wan and that is a reason of his tragedy. I am sure that he could not tell it because of some reasons but it is also true Anakin and Obi-Wan was a best friend at that moment. So this story shows the possibility that they could fix their friendship and happy ending.




A List of Rules to Living in the Star Wars Galaxy

This is unique form of fan fiction that lists rules in Star Wars movie like an exposition or even guidebook for travel. There are 50 rules that author stated in this writing and these are not serious rules, just make funs of this movie. For example, No 41.” Throwing people down reactor shafts is not allowed, even though everyone else does it. “Is talking about the death of Emperor in episode 6.
